Collaborative partnership is organised!
For the ycn competition brief I am pleased to be working with Sarah Frackleton.
Sarah approached me quite quickly after the brief was announced and I am looking forward to working with her since we know each other fairly well but have not worked together before. We have similar creative interests in design for print, type and image, layout and editorial which should help us work effectively together whilst we are different enough to learn from each other as well.
After the partnership was settled we were asked to create a hand rendered poster with 5 statements telling people what the best things about the collaboration would be.
Ours were as follows:
- Quality printed media
- Idea generators
- Considerate and approachable
- Dedicated and methodical
- Visual communicators
The design of the poster was kept clean and simple with several circles rising up to illustrate the creative thought process with each one encapsulating one of the statements.
