ycn - General observations so far

Responses/Strategy:
- I think we have established a good working relationship and strategy for this project so far.
- I feel we need to keep working in a similar way to how we are now, just concentrate on getting more things produced.

Appropriateness/Relevance:
- Overall, the design direction of the project is relevant and definitely beginning to take shape.
- We need to make sure we keep in mind the Fedrigoni clientele and the target audience more often.
- Current methods of resolution are suitable and are set to meet the requirements of the brief.

Presentation/Clarity:
-We can produce a clear and direct presentation of our concept, communicate the core idea well and easily and concisely explain what we are doing and why.
- We are really starting to evidence all of the research and development and this is showing in the resolutions that we are producing.

Have we fallen in love with our idea?
- Need to make sure we keep taking a step back and reviewing what we are doing but altogether I feel we have taken a measured and considered approach to our work.
- I think we have communicated and discussed ideas really well and consulted each other on each step of the project which has allowed us to make decisions and move forward quickly.

Collaborative or conflicting?
- So far I genuinely think it has been a very collaborative partnership.
- I have concentrated on the webpage visuals and Sarah has focused on the direct mail out. This hasn't been a harsh split down the middle but it has allowed us to get on with something individually as trying to design whilst the other is sitting next to you is almost impossible! Of course though, key decisions have been discussed in-depth to make sure of consistency across both formats of the resolutions.
-We have compromised when we have needed to but what has worked in our favour is our similar aspirations for the project.
- Just need to crack on and produce more and more work as there is a lot left to do in the remaining time.

Skills - Complementary or contrasting?
- Very complementary skills sets.
-My focus on paper crafting and Sarah's work on paper engineering and folding has worked really well.
- On wider issues -- I have noticed we have been thinking of things that the other has considered or we have been able to look at each other's work fairly subjectively which I think has enabled us to 'waterproof' our ideas and concept.

Roles and responsibilities:
- As I expected, the roles that were initially set out in the contract haven't been followed exactly in reality. Our roles have overlapped on many elements of the project and I think this has essentially been true collaborative work.
- Nothing has been dominated by one person or the other and we have both been able to contribute on areas across the project which has proved highly beneficial.
