Image//Self-Initiated Brief

Drawing as practice.

- Evaluate where we are up to in the module and thoughts so far.
- Strengths and weaknesses, analyse each project, what media did I like working with? Decide on a brief on which to base my work upon.
- Write up a self initiated brief that is based on one of the previous image projects. It could be directly extended from one of them or just within the same area. eg. Editorial.

*Group Crit next week. 3 x A3 design direction boards.
- Concept/Content/Context.

Scale/Frame/Format - Revisit?

- Drawing, Illustration.
- Outline, quality of line.
- Something that could be drawn and then changes depending on what environment/scale it sits within.
- Considerations: Quality of line, colour, type, illustration.
- Hand drawn or digital? - Combination of both?

Editorial - Revisit?

- Collect a set of articles that are of interest to me. Articles with a similar theme perhaps.
- Represent them through image.
- Create a set of posters or a book of the resulting images.
- Chance to explore imagemaking further and different processes.
