Had a little meeting with Naomi this afternoon to discuss initial ideas and visuals. We were both coming up with plenty of letterform ideas for the restaurant which was good and we both seem to be heading in the same direction early on.
Mainly, we have decided to go with the name MARBLE.
With it just being a material, it has no specific immediate connotations, unlike Swan so it's good to have made a decision so quickly and now we can continue doing more visuals based around the one idea.
Im going to keep developing the type experiments I've done so far as I'm really enjoying it and plan to start vectorising some of the hand drawn letters.
We're going to discuss it again on Friday and also have a tutorial with Ric Bell to see what he makes of our idea and concept so far. By then I'll also have had my tutorial with Joe and can get his feedback on the project.
