I've been deciding the typeface to use for the quotes on the posters for my calendar. Since the designs are going to be very simple it's essential that I choose an appropriate typeface, otherwise the whole thing just won't work.
For a calendar I felt a classic serif font would be best suited and a few that I tested are laid out below. The Didot version seems to have a really nice evenly weighted feel to it and appears confident on the page with it's mix of bold strokes and delicate curves and serifs.
