After Effects Workshop 5

Adding audio to a title sequence.

Types of audio include :

- Voice Overs
- Sound Effects
- Music

*check royalty free websites/ youtube to mp3/ record it yourself/ use music from a cd or i-tunes


Types of audio files include:

- AIFF is the Mac standard audio file
- WAV is for PC & After Effects
- MP3
- Flac (high quality audio which needs to be converted to bring into AE)


Audio has fixed start and ends so you cannot change the length of time it lasts but you can take out segments of the audio to use.


Putting audio on a loop.


**Remember to check the audio box when rendering and exporting**

Parent/Child Relationships - making several layer do the same thing.
Nesting - moving one composition and nesting it into a new one as a single layer.
